“The Messenger of Allah (Peace be Upon Him) was the most generous of people and he was the most generous in Ramadan, like the wind which bears rain.”
This is the great bounty of Allah on His slaves that He provides them with forgiveness after forgiveness. So whoever fasts Ramadan with faith and expecting reward from Allah will receive forgiveness, and whoever prays its’ nights with faith and expecting reward from Allah will receive forgiveness, and whoever prays the Night of Al-Qadr with faith and expecting reward from Allah will receive forgiveness. And verily the Muslim approaches Allah with his heart and bodily limbs and with whatever he is doing. And verily Charity is a proof, confirming faith in Allah the One, Sublime is He. And Charity extinguishes the wrath of the Lord just as water extinguishes fire. And indeed the Messenger of Allah (Peace be Upon Him) said: “wealth does not decrease with Charity, but Allah increases giving to those who give many fold and also blesses them.” So come and take advantage of the blessings, goodness, forgiveness, and pleasure of Allah.
The Abubakar As-Saddique Islamic Center Islamic Center is alive and active with every manifestation of good, its’ nights are standing in praying and its days are fasting. In it are men whom neither commerce nor selling distract them from remembering Allah morning and evening. They establish Salat and pay the Zakat and they fear a day in which hearts and eyes will rotate.
How great is Charity in this month, while you are feeding a fasting person. And whoever feeds a fasting person gets a like reward. Indeed Abubakar As-Saddique Islamic Center, with its’ activities has become accustomed to your generosity by your paying the Zakat on your wealth, your charitable contributions, sharing in covering the expenses of the daily Iftar program, and the expenses of providing hospitality to the scholars and readers of Qur’an. So, by the bounty of Allah, then the bounty of your generosity and your giving the House of Allah will continue with material help for the needy families of your brothers. And they are always increasing. Last year, the meals for Iftar in this blessed month were more than 20,000. Those who betook of the daily free Iftar increased from between 600 to 900 people. So, good news for you on account of your generosity and your charity.
O ye seekers of good, come forth! This is the month of goodness and giving (O Allah give the one who spends something in its’ place, O Allah, Ameen!)
