Weekend Islamic School (known as DUGSI)

 Abubakar As-Saddique Islamic Center provides a weekend Islamic school (Dugsi) for about 250 children from the age 6 up to 12 years. In this school, kids learn the Arabic alphabet, and then the Holy Qur’an in its original language of Arabic. In addition, they learn the basic Islamic tenets and manners such as the five pillars of Islam and six articles of faith. It also includes being truthful, honest, and obedient to parents and teachers, behaving well at all times, and becoming productive members of the society.
