CREATION IS IN NEED OF ALLAH

I have surrendered myself to You, I have directed my face to You, I have entrusted my affairs to You, I have compelled my back to refuge in You, in want and in fright of You, there is no resort nor survival from You except (in turning) to You. I have faith in Your book (i.e. the Qur'an) which You brought down and in the Prophet Muhammad) you have sent» [Al-Bukhari, Muslim].

SUMMARY

Dear brothers and sisters,

We are in need of Allah, Allah doesn't need us. We have to know that our purpose of living on this earth is to worship Allah alone with no partners. There can be no meaningful life better than that which was prescribed by our Creator. Every act done according to Allah's way and the Sunnah of his prophet is an act of worship. Man is the beneficiary and Allah is in no need.

TAKE ACCOUNT OF YOURSELF BEFORE IT IS TAKEN ACCOUNT IN THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT

Respected brothers and sisters in Islam,

It is our duty to take account of ourselves before it is taken account by Allah in the Judgment Day. We have a plenty of time now. We must go back to Allah and repent from our sins. Our salvation depends on, when we take account of ourselves in this world. Remember Allah is most Merciful, Most Compassionate and He likes when we repent to Him. Remember also that our body cannot take the burnings of the hellfire. Therefore we must ask ourselves these following questions to see if we are ready to face the challenges of the Judgment Day. May Allah made easy for us. ASK YOURSELF:

1.       When was the last time you visited the house of Allah (The Masjid)?

2.       When was the last time you recite the Quran?

3.       When was the last time you prayed the Friday Prayer in congregation at the Mosque?

4.       When was the last time you got in touch with your relatives?

5.       When was the last time you repent to Allah to forgive your sins?

6.       When was the last time you give charity to a needy person (Sadaqah)?

7.       When was the last time you invite someone to the (Dacwah) and Religion of Allah?

8.       When was the last time you intended to come to a lecture (Muxadara) and benefit from it?

9.       When was the last time that you remember Allah alone and cried in seek of His forgiveness?

10.   When was the last time that you thought about the Day of Judgment and whether you will be the companions of the right or the companions of the left?

11.   When was the last time you thought about what you will face when you go to the grave and when the angels come to ask you questions; what will your answers be?

In conclusion brothers and sisters in Islam, there are a lot of questions we can ask ourselves to get prepared for the Judgment Day. The bottom part is, we must always remember Allah. We must run away from His severe punishment. We must fear from the Judgment Day because it will not be an easy day as Allah mentioned many times in His Holy Quran.

The Value Of Time PDF Print E-mail

The Value of Time

Dear brothers and sisters do you realize that the time one spends in this world determines whether one becomes a loser in this world and the hereafter. Allah instructs us in His Holy Quran: “And Hell, that Day, is brought (face to face), - on that Day will man remember, but how will that remembrance profit him?”

Esteemed brother and sister,  do you know that many people are unaware or simply ignore the gravity of the situation by not following Allah's religion properly and making provisions for the hereafter while they still have the opportunity in this life. Our Holy Prophet Muhammad (Allah's grace and Mercy be upon him) said: "People take the two blessings good health and longevity from Allah for granted and do not make of it to worship Allah the way He should be worshipped.”

Esteemed brother and sister, your entire life is simply adding a few number of years together, the years are a few months added together,  the months are just a few weeks added together, the weeks are made up of seven days. This is what is actually called the lifespan of the human being, so please take advantage of your good health and your time in this world. One can never make up a day that is past.
