AAIC Mac-had (institute) is founded on Islamic morals, scholastic excellence, and good citizenship.

An institute that weaves academic excellence with highest morals and ethics.

We aim to teach children about Islam and fulfil this mission through the following objectives:


  • Establish and maintain high quality Islamic education for all of the students
  • Learning and memorization of the Quran is an essential objective of AAIC Mac-had (institute)
  • Establish and maintain programs that instills children with etiquettes and manners according to the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah
  • Today’s students are tomorrow’s imams, scholars, Instructors, and AAIC Mac-had (institute) should develop and advance a high quality Islamic knowledge program to reach that goal.


  • The abubakar institute of shariah sciences revolves around the upbringing of the next muslim generation in their understanding of all laws and regulations upheld in the religion of islam using primary sources such as the quran and hadith.
  • We strive to produce students well rounded in all subjects pertaining to islam -due to the vast amount of subjects taught- and to enrich their understanding of the religion.

Machad (high-school level)

AAIC provides 6 semesters in high-school level in order for our students to pass unto an associates degree in either shariah sciences or quranic sciences.

For the year 2017 we have provided you courses their taking now. our 7 classes are divided by either their morning or afternoon shifts. 4 in the afternoon and 3 in the morning.

Afternoon high-school shifts:

  • Room 101= semester 2 courses;
  • Room 104= semester 5 courses;
  • Room 105=semester 6 courses;
  • Room 106= semester 4 courses;

Morning high-school shift:

  • Room 102= semester 2 courses;
  • Room 103= semester 3   courses;
  • Room 106= semester 1   courses: 

Machad (Associate’s level )

This program specifically takes place in only the mornings as of now. Our students take 3 courses on saturday and a different three on sunday. Focusing on their shariah sciences. We offer 6 semesters during their associates journey.

  • Room 104 old= graduating class at convention
  • Room 107= semester 4 courses: quran, naxwa-2, hadith (buluq al maraam), arabic, faraaid, aqeedah
  • Room 104 new: semester 3 courses;

Uni(bachelor’s level & post-graduate) – Shariah sciences

Our bachelor’s and postgraduate classes as of now take place only in afternoons. We have a class whom just started their bachelor’s program and another class finished their bachelors and are heading to their master’s.

Entry requirements


Parents who would like to enroll their students to Abubakar Machad must fill an application form and submit at the office. Applications are processed on a first come first serve basis. Once your application reaches the top and there is an available seat registration staff will call the parents to schedule an admissions test.

All new students will need to be tested and their level of knowledge in reading and writing arabic. If enrolling in higher degree transferred credits from an islamic university will be looked at. The result of this assessment will determine what level the student will be placed at what semester .Waiting list will be maintained according to who applied first. Students can re apply once they withdraw. Students who would like to re-apply must pay any outstanding fees before they submit their application. The office will not accept an application that has arrears to pay.

As for enrolling into any machad we have specific requirements for each branch:

Machad (high-school level):

  1. Must pass Reading and writing arabic accuplacer
  2. Have Some Juz’s of Quran memorization
  3. Above the age of 14 or in high-school

Machad (Associate’s level):

  1. High School diploma from machad or any islamic school
  2. Above the age of 18
  3. Reading and writing arabic accuplacer

Uni(bachelor’s level): Shariah sciences:

  1. Associates from machad or transferred credits from another islamic school

Uni(post-graduate level): Shariah sciences:

  1. Must have a bachelor’s degree from any accredited islamic university
